Alex has over 15 years of drumming experience and has learned from some of the world's best drummers, most notably Toronto's own Mark Kelso. Alex is a seasoned educator, having worked with students of all ages with skill levels ranging from beginner to advanced. He is no stranger to the stage and can be found performing around the city and beyond. Alex helps students to develop core fundamental skills. Lessons will cover the basic drum rudiments, developing a strong sense of time, proper. correct grip, reading and more. He also strives to make lessons fun and personalized, always trying to incorporate music that students connect with. Alex encourages students to explore many different genres and incorporates elements of rock, jazz, blues, world music, metal, and funk which helps students become well-rounded players. Alex looks forward to working with you and helping you on your drumming journey!
