Roshanak

Roshanak is an Iranian jazz-alternative singer-songwriter. Her work reflects her journey as a woman of color, a member of the LGBTQ2S+ community, and someone navigating life with neurodivergence. These aspects shape her music, allowing her to address themes of mental health, activism, and the quest for acceptance. She has cultivated a supportive network and built a growing fan base of over 2,000 followers on Instagram. Her journey includes self-taught vocal and guitar skills, successful gig bookings, and recent professional training. She holds a degree from the Independent Songwriting and Performance Program at Seneca College and an undergraduate degree in Sociology from Toronto Metropolitan University. She is excited to bring this passion to her students and help them find and nurture their unique voices. Let’s make music that speaks to the heart and resonates with truth.
